About Ignite Visibility:
Ignite Visibility is an award-winning performance marketing agency, consistently ranked among the top digital marketing firms in the nation. Our growth is fueled by data-driven strategies, cutting-edge technology, an exceptional team, and strategic acquisitions. As we continue to scale and integrate new businesses into our portfolio, we are focused on realizing synergies, preserving value, and accelerating our market leadership.
About the Role
We’re looking for a seasoned HR leader who can partner closely with our Chief of People to guide our domestic People Operations team through the next phase of growth. This role is equal parts strategic leadership and hands-on partnership. You’ll oversee our HR Director and HR Generalist, lead key initiatives, and help build a consistent, thoughtful, and people-focused HR function across the company.
We are seeking a leader with experience in project-based or service-oriented industries, including management consulting, creative/media agencies, and professional services (IT, legal), or from dynamic tech companies like SaaS, e-commerce, and AdTech. This background ensures comfort with our rapid decision cycles, change management needs, and the demands of a high-performance, client-focused culture.
Why This Role Matters
You’ll be stepping into a trusted leadership position at a time when our company is growing and evolving quickly. This role strengthens our HR foundation, supports our people, and gives our Chief of People the partnership needed to scale our team and capabilities.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a senior advisor to the Chief of People on strategy, organizational planning, and company-wide people initiatives.
- Lead and develop our domestic HR team, including direct oversight of the HR Director and HR Generalist.
- Drive programs across employee relations, performance management, talent development, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
- Support leaders and managers across the business with sound guidance, good judgment, and a steady approach to decision-making.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with employees and leaders at every level.
- Oversee compliance, policy development, and HR operations with a focus on clarity, consistency, and fairness.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support acquisitions, integrations, workforce planning, and company-wide change initiatives.
- Lead or co-lead strategic HR projects that elevate our processes, systems, and employee experience.
- Act as a culture ambassador who helps maintain a high-trust, high-accountability environment.
What You Bring
- Extensive experience in Human Resources leadership, including prior experience managing HR teams and advising senior leadership.
- A well-rounded background across HR functions such as employee relations, performance, talent development, HR operations, and compliance.
- Strong judgment and the confidence to make decisions in complex or ambiguous situations.
- A calm, grounded presence that helps build trust with employees and leaders.
- Experience supporting a fast-growing or evolving organization.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive topics with professionalism and empathy.
- Prior experience in multi-state HR environments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior or executive HR leadership role.
- Proven success leading HR teams and developing HR managers or directors.
- Broad experience across key HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, compliance, HR operations, and talent development.
- Strong judgment and the ability to make clear decisions in complex or sensitive situations.
- Demonstrated experience advising senior leaders and influencing through trust rather than title.
- Prior experience supporting multi-state teams and understanding of state-specific employment laws.
- Experience guiding organizations through growth, change, or acquisitions.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or HR certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
