We are seeking an experienced payroll executive to lead our global payroll function, delivering Employer of Record as well as our global payroll and expense management solutions. As the Head of Global Payroll, you will define and drive our payroll strategy, execution, product development, operations and delivery of services across all 185 countries. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to directly manage a large international team, interact with clients large and small, and shape a fast growing and dynamic industry working for one of the original innovators in the space. This individual will report to the Chief Operating Officer, with close collaboration across our product, engineering and finance teams a large part of the job.
You Will:

- Develop and lead the global payroll strategy, encompassing EOR payroll, partnerships, and direct client and employee engagement.
- Ensure timely, accurate payroll operations for supported employees across all global regions.
- Maintain industry leadership through innovative, customer-centric payroll offerings and thought leadership.
- Collaborate with R&D to define and execute the payroll product and technology roadmap.
- Manage a global payroll team of 50+ employees, driving performance, growth, and team cohesion.
- Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure global regulatory adherence and mitigate operational risks.
- Oversee stakeholder deliverables, service metrics, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of the global payroll space, along with a demonstrated track record of developing best in class global payroll solutions
- Minimum 10 years in building global payroll solutions, including system implementation and service delivery on a global level
- Deep experience in fast growing, tech enabled businesses

- Willingness and ability to innovate fresh and/or unique approaches and solutions
- Experience working in a strategic, analytical, or metric-driven position.
- Ability to effectively lead and collaborate across internal and external stakeholders

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive work environment, multi-task, work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple deliverables.
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement of processes and efficiency gains
- Provide coaching, mentoring and support to drive sustained improvement across the business
- Experience in developing and managing KPIs for performance of operational teams

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The base pay depends upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
Annualized Pay Range
$232,000—$308,000 USD
