How you’ll CREATE:

  • Manage monthly business reporting and analysis, in partnership with key business stakeholders, to support growth initiatives.  
  • Develop and enhance key financial models and databases.
  • Collect, analyze, and report key performance indicators highlighting actionable insights.
  • Provide financial guidance on music and merchandise pricing in retail and D2C channels.
  • Prepare executive financial review materials.
  • Develop ad hoc analyses to support management decision-making.
  • Assist with review of contractual profit split & distribution statements.  Liaise with external partners on statement and artist performance questions.
  • Special projects as required, including working with other departments across UMG & external partners.

Bring your VIBE:

  • Music industry experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in FP&A, strategic analysis, and/or accounting roles.
  • Hyperion Financial Management/Smartview Reporting, SAP and BPC planning financial application experience/knowledge preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products including advance skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Great organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize based on evolving workload.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to relay information to executives and management, while being sensitive to confidential information.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, including adaptability, personal effectiveness, and the ability to establish quick rapport.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and effectively follow through under pressure and/or tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP required; CPA experience preferred.

Salary Range:

$149,950 - $259,087

The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.  All candidates are encouraged to apply.
