What We Do:

Huntress is a fully remote, global team of passionate experts and ethical badasses on a mission to break down the barriers to cybersecurity. Whether creating purpose-built security solutions, hunting down hackers, or impacting our community, our people go above and beyond to change the security game and make a real difference.

Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress protects all businesses—not just the 1%—with enterprise-grade, fully owned, and managed cybersecurity products at the price of an affordable SaaS application. The Huntress difference is our One Team advantage: our technology is designed with our industry-defining Security Operations Center (SOC) in mind and is never separated from our service.

We protect 3M+ endpoints and 1M+ identities worldwide, elevating underresourced IT teams with protection that works as hard as they do. As long as hackers keep hacking, Huntress keeps hunting.

What You’ll Do:

The Vice President of Corporate Marketing is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and elevating our company's brand presence, narrative, and overall market perception. This individual will lead and inspire a talented team of approximately 17 professionals across Public Relations, Creative/Design, Content Strategy, Social Media, and Copywriting. The ideal candidate is a visionary storyteller, a data-driven strategist, and an exceptional people leader with a proven track record of building and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and business growth. You will be instrumental in defining our corporate voice, ensuring consistency across all communication channels, and fostering a creative and high-performing team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead corporate marketing strategy, aligning it with business goals and finding new brand growth opportunities through market analysis.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture while optimizing team structure and processes.
  • Public Relations & Communication: Oversee PR strategies to secure positive media coverage, build thought leadership, manage corporate reputation, and handle crisis communications. Experience leading an organization through major financial events.
  • Creative & Design: Lead our in-house creative team to produce compelling, on-brand visual assets across all channels, championing design excellence.
  • Content Strategy & Copywriting: Drive a holistic content strategy, overseeing the creation of engaging and impactful content tailored to diverse audiences and platforms.
  • Social Media & Community: Develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and community growth across all corporate social channels.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Growth, Sales, and executive leadership to ensure integrated marketing efforts and strategic alignment.
  • Budget & Performance Management: Develop and manage the corporate marketing budget, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reporting and analysis on program performance and ROI.

What You Bring To The Team:

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate marketing, brand management, or communications, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role managing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Proven experience leading, developing, and scaling teams of 15+ individuals.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated corporate marketing strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Strong expertise across PR, creative services, content strategy, social media, and copywriting.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting compelling narratives.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy and visual identity development.
  • Experience managing budgets and measuring marketing ROI.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What We Offer:

  • 100% remote work environment - since our founding in 2015
  • Generous paid time off policy, including vacation, sick time, and paid holidays

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
