For generations, midlife women's health has been neglected. While roughly 2 million American women enter perimenopause or menopause every year, up to 75% of those who seek medical care walk away untreated—often because less than 20% of OB-GYN residency programs offer formal menopause training.
Most women come to Midi seeking relief from symptoms like hot flashes and poor sleep. But what they receive is comprehensive, whole-woman care. At Midi, we know that achieving the best health outcomes requires looking at the complete picture. Beyond symptom management, our clinical model proactively targets the critical health shifts happening under the surface—including cardiovascular health and cholesterol, bone density, thyroid function, and metabolic risks like pre-diabetes.
As the leading virtual care clinic dedicated to midlife health, Midi is scaling rapidly to meet this overdue demand. We are now onboarding 1,000 new patients every day and conducting 25,000 virtual visits per week. To ensure this high-standard care is accessible to all, Midi operates as a fully integrated partner across the broader healthcare ecosystem—collaborating closely with major health plans, employers, and leading health systems to make comprehensive midlife care a connected, covered, and standard part of healthcare.
The Role:Midi is looking for a VP of Commercial Marketing to own the strategy, execution, and results that establish Midi as a B2B powerhouse. This is not a support function — you are the executive accountable for the commercial marketing P&L, for the pipeline our enterprise partnerships depend on, and for the credibility of the Midi brand across the entire B2B landscape.
You will build and lead a multidisciplinary marketing organization, evolve Midi's brand beyond DTC, and architect high-impact programs that expand strategic partnerships and drive member acquisition pull-through at scale. You will be judged on outcomes: pipeline generated, partnerships closed, LTV/CAC improved, and revenue influenced. You bring the strategic vision of a marketing executive and the operating discipline of someone who has personally driven a number before.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and sitting on the extended leadership team, this role demands command of the full commercial marketing function — team leadership, budget ownership, cross-functional influence at the C-suite and board level, and a deep, working understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including payers, employers, health systems, and the patients we serve together.
What You'll Own:Critical Functions:
B2B Messaging & Positioning — Partner with Midi Commercial leadership to refine positioning across payers, employers, and health system partners, crafting the narrative that creates urgency and closes the gap between interest and commitment.
Account-Based Marketing (ABM) — Architect and run high-touch, data-informed ABM strategies that penetrate high-value enterprise accounts, including large payers and Fortune 500 employers, with clear ownership of account-level outcomes.
Modern MarTech & AI-Enabled Infrastructure — Build and scale a sophisticated MarTech stack with robust attribution and end-to-end data visibility. Bring an innovation mindset to how AI and automation reshape marketing operations, content velocity, and campaign performance — you should be someone who's already using AI tools daily and pushing your team to do the same, not waiting for a mandate to do so.
Data-Driven Thought Leadership — Partner with Midi's clinical and research teams to build and run an authoritative thought-leadership engine that strengthens brand trust and fuels demand generation — and hold it accountable to pipeline impact.
Market & Competitive Intelligence — Build and maintain command of the competitive and market landscape, translating research into positioning and product marketing decisions the business acts on.
Commercial Marketing Strategy & P&L — Set and own the B2B marketing strategy, budget, and KPIs. You are accountable for the results this function delivers against Midi's enterprise growth goals, not just for producing the plan.
Pipeline & Revenue Outcomes — Drive measurable pipeline contribution and revenue influence across payer, employer, and health system channels. Own LTV/CAC as a metric you actively manage, test against, and improve — not one you simply report on.
Member Acquisition & Growth — Drive scalable, segment-specific member acquisition through continuous testing, message refinement, and multi-channel optimization, owning the growth number end to end.
Commercial Partnership — Act as the marketing counterpart to the Commercial leadership team, delivering the collateral, training, RFP support, and deal-stage content that shortens sales cycles — and take shared ownership of the commercial outcomes that result.
Leadership & Executive Alignment — Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing organization. Drive alignment across executive leadership, and represent commercial marketing as a full voice at the leadership table.
What You Bring:- 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role building, scaling, and running high-performing marketing teams and budgets in high-growth environments; healthcare, digital health, or a highly regulated B2B/B2B2C environment strongly preferred.
- A demonstrated track record of owning a number — pipeline, revenue influence, LTV/CAC, or similar — and being able to speak concretely to how you moved it.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, with direct experience marketing to and negotiating credibility with payers, employers, and health systems.
- Fluency with modern marketing automation and MarTech stacks (HubSpot a plus), and genuine enthusiasm for using AI tools to increase team leverage, speed, and creative output — you see AI as a lever for competitive advantage, not a compliance checkbox.
- Experience owning and managing a significant marketing budget.
- Proven success architecting and executing data-driven ABM strategies that penetrate large enterprise accounts and accelerate sales pipelines.
- Executive presence: comfortable operating and influencing at the CMO/C-suite and board level, translating strategy into a story that lands with non-marketers.
- A bias toward action — someone who moves from strategy to execution without needing to be pushed, and who treats ambiguity as something to resolve rather than escalate.
- Strong people leadership: a track record of hiring, mentoring, and retaining strong marketers, and of building a team culture that expects ownership rather than assigns tasks.
