Position Summary:

As a Commercial Card Product Specialist, you will play an integral role in driving innovation. The Commercial Card Product Specialist acts as a technical liaison and subject matter expert (SME) between corporate clients, sales teams, and internal product/IT departments. This role bridges the gap between product development, technology, sales, and client-facing teams to ensure products are effectively designed, marketed, and supported. The Specialist is responsible for enhancing the product life cycle, improving user experience, and driving adoption of payment solutions.  

Major Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between Product, PM, IAM and Sales to support new enhancements and products.
  • Identify and implement innovative payment solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate payment strategies into broader business plans.
  • Oversee testing of new products and features.
  • Serve as escalation POC from Servicing and Implementations for our third-party vendors .
  • Recommend solutions for improving payment reliability, speed, and security.
  • Manage option changes within platforms.
  • Document and communicate system defects.
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery Testing
  • Work closely with product teams to ensure payment features align with user needs.
  • Partner with marketing to promote new payment options and educate customers.
  • Collaborate with IT teams for technical support and updates on payment platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in payments, financial services, or strategic roles.
  • Prior exposure to eCommerce and fintech environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and trends.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to convey complex ideas.
  • Proficiency in payment technologies and platforms.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $125K - $161K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
