Client Retention & Strategic Account Leadership:

  • Own accountability for client retention outcomes across the book of business, leading strategies that strengthen executive relationships, deepen long-term partnerships, and proactively address renewal and at-risk dynamics
  • Provide executive oversight of strategic account planning and client health monitoring, identifying retention risk early and mobilizing cross-functional response to protect and grow client relationships
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver integrated client solutions and differentiated client outcomes

Sales Partnership & Growth Enablement:

  • Partner closely with Sales and Growth leadership to support new business pursuits, RFP responses, and finalist presentations, contributing client management expertise and operational credibility to win strategies

  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing clients, partnering with Sales on expansion strategies and contract renewals

Client Insights & Trend Analysis:

  • Identify and synthesize client-level trends across the book of business — including utilization patterns, formulary dynamics, satisfaction indicators, and emerging client needs — and translate them into action for individual clients and AffirmedRx more broadly
  • Monitor PBM market, regulatory, and industry trends; bring forward insights that inform AffirmedRx strategy, product direction, and client thought leadership
  • Partner with Clinical, Product, and Analytics teams to translate trend insights into client-facing recommendations, proactive outreach, and differentiated value delivered to clients

  • Lead or support strategic initiatives requiring executive sponsorship, organizational change management, and cross-functional leadership

What you need:

  • 15+ years of PBM, healthcare, pharmacy, or related leadership experience
  • Significant experience leading client management, account management, or client strategy organizations
  • Demonstrated success managing executive-level client, broker, consultant, and enterprise stakeholder relationships
  • Strong executive presence, business acumen, communication, analytical, and leadership capabilities
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

What you get:

  • To impact industry change in the pharmacy benefits management space, while delivering the highest quality patient outcomes
  • To work in a culture where people thrive because when OUR team thrives, OUR business thrives

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
