The Vice-President, Client Development is responsible for business development, client relationships, and strategic consulting, driving sales and expanding existing relationships.
SUMMARY
The Vice-President, Business Development is an experienced professional who is responsible for business development, client relations, strategic counselling and providing insightful research expertise. This role requires the ability to rapidly accelerate business with a strong blend of analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify new business opportunities and generating sales in line with objectives and targets from any accounts brought in and new clients
- Seek out opportunities to help raise Leger product awareness, be a Leger Brand ambassador, grow existing clients and develop new client opportunities by attending industry events, outreach, etc.
- Maintain and expand the scope of existing client relationships by identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities
- Support the research team in proposal and RFP process to ensure that they are tailored to client needs and respect the guidelines required
- Lead and participate in regular strategic sales meetings in conjunction with office leads and research VPs to develop strategy together to increase sales.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University (bachelor’s or master’s degree) preferably in a business-related subject
- At least five (5) years of experience in the market research or strategic consulting industry as a consultant or market/strategic research professional
- At least ten (10) years of experience as a Sales Professional
- Proven ability to bring in business and significantly grow accounts
- Knowledge of and experience with a CRM (HubSpot preferred)

- Strong Networking capabilities: Ability to create and facilitate forums to develop new alliances and identifies areas to build strategic relationships
