SUMMARY: The Vice President of Business Development leads the Providence Hospitality Partners Business Development effort to achieve clearly defined strategic growth objectives. Identify management contract opportunities and grow our Joint Venture Investment Network. The position reports directly to the President of the company.

MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN OBTAINING 3RD PARTY HMA'S WITH VERIFIABLE TRACK RECORD OVER SEVERAL YEARS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Source and qualify leads for new Hotel Management Contracts in strategic markets
  • Negotiate and secure management contracts from lead generation and issuance of proposal to signing of the HMA
  • Prepare customized proposals by utilizing “Deck” presentations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Hotel Investors, Owners, Private Equity Groups, Brand Executives, Hotel Brokers, Consulting Firms, Asset Managers and Professional Firms
  • Prepare and present Proformas and develop Return on Investment Analysis
  • Develop a quarterly action plan and budget required to achieve our stated growth objectives
  • Attend strategic Hospitality Industry events
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Solid knowledge of Excel, Word, and Power Point

  • Strong enough mentally to work under pressure and without complaint
  • Up to 50% travel required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business, Hotel Management, Finance, or related field of study. MBA is viewed favorably but not required
  • Minimum of five years of experience, with a proven ability to secure Hotel Management Agreement (HMA) Growth Goals
  • Knowledge of hospitality and hotel real estate markets, including operations, debt/equity structures
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, underwriting acquisitions, and proficiency with financial modeling

SALARY: The salary range for this position is $_______ - $ _________ in base pay, with final base pay offering based on experience and proven ability. In addition to base pay, the position will reward the candidate with realized deal-based incentives as a % of contracted revenue for the first ____ years of any new and finalized contract.
