We are seeking a seasoned and visionary VP of Brand & Creative to lead our team at Datadog.  Datadog is the leader in cloud observability with over 30K customers worldwide across both SMB and enterprise brands.  We serve a vibrant community of developers and engineers and we pride ourselves on communicating with them in clear and authentic ways. 

In this role, you’ll be a key player in taking our brand to the next level as we continue to expand to new buyers, industries and regions.  The team brings together our Video, Creative Design and Website Experience teams to create powerful, integrated campaigns across both our digital and event platforms.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive Brand Strategy and Vision - Set the tone for the Datadog brand worldwide through guidelines and design systems that are implemented across both internal and external Marketing programs.   Incorporate our customer voice and stories in everything that we do.

  • Lead Creative Execution - Orchestrate execution across all brand requests company- wide from digital ads to content to video.  Create internal processes to maximize efficiency and tap into AI or external agencies where we can get scale.

  • Create Memorable Event Experiences - Work with our global events team to create high impact brand elements for both our 1st party and 3rd party events.  

  • Design Efficient Digital Experiences - Together with our Sr. Director of Web Experience, drive the long term roadmap for our corporate website and work with Product and Engineering to deliver new pages and experiences with reasonable SLAs.

  • Manage and Develop Creative Talent - Build and develop a world class team of designers, animators, video producers and brand strategists.   

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Marketing or a related field

  • 15+ years of experience in Brand, with at least 8+ years in a leadership role.

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent project management skills and ability to balance creative vision with business needs.

  • Strong communication skills to present ideas and strategies to executives and stakeholders.

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Datadog offers a wide range of best in class, comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits for this role including healthcare, dental, parental planning, and mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan and match, paid time off, fitness reimbursements, and a discounted employee stock purchase plan.

$330,000$400,000 USD
