Anduril Industries' Maneuvering Dominance Division is seeking a talented intern to join our Group 5 Vehicle Management team this summer. The Division spans development of autonomous systems from Group 3 to Group 5 capabilities. The primary Vehicle Management System responsibilities are divided into four critical areas: Flight Software (FSW), Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC), Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MSA) and Ground Software (GSW). As an intern, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside industry experts in one of these areas, contributing to the development and testing of advanced autonomous systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of ground/flight software algorithms, GNC systems, simulation models.
- Participate in the integration and testing of software/hardware components in lab, ground, or flight tests.
- Analyze data collected from simulations and flight test events to inform system improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address engineering challenges and enhance system performance.
- Engage in creative problem-solving to advance our UAS.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A strong foundation in software development, control theory, or analytical modeling.
- Keen interest in autonomous systems.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance (U.S. Citizenship may be required).
