We are seeking a VDC Manager who possesses strong values, communicates clearly, displays a consistently strong work ethic, and is eager to build lasting relationships. The primary function of the VDC Manager is to support the implementation and execution of Building Information processes and tools across projects. Within this role, you will work closely with the project teams, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to assist with model coordination, clash detention, and the development of construction-ready documentation. You’ll help ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment between virtual design and real-world execution. Essential Functions & Abilities
  • Create, update, and maintain accurate 3D models and 2D drawings across disciplines.
  • Support BIM/VDC coordination efforts, including clash detection and issue tracking during design and construction phases.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of BIM execution plans, standards, and workflows.
  • Participate in managing federated models, integrating architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
  • Collaborate with design teams, trade partners, and consultants to identify and help resolve coordination issues.
  • Utilize BIM/VDC software programs daily (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360/ACC).
  • Ensure model accuracy and integrity through design iterations and field updates.
  • Support internal teams and trade partners in adopting BIM processes and tools.
  • Conduct periodic site visits to support field verification and alignment with construction conditions.

Education / Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in architecture, Engineering or Construction Management, or a related field (preferred not required). 
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360/ACC.
  • Familiarity with Laser Scanning process and implementation.
  • Deep understanding of construction process and implementation.
  • Interpersonal skills – ability to engage with internal team members, and external stakeholders, and trade contractors in a constructive, productive way to overcome obstacles and achieve results.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with Lean Construction or IPD is a plus.

Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $115,000 – $135,000 per year.
