About the role:

The VCF Architect is responsible for implementing technical solutions that meet client requirements and align with enterprise standards. This role focuses on technical delivery, and ensuring successful integration of systems across multiple domains and solution design as needed. The VCF Architect will collaborate closely with engineers, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.

What you'll do:

  • Implement and document solutions based on defined requirements and architectural guidelines.
  • Implement enterprise solutions in collaboration with engineering and delivery teams.
  • Participate in system migrations, upgrades, integrations, and modernization initiatives.
  • Conduct solution assessments and assist with proof of concepts or pilots.
  • Ensure solutions align with organizational standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges and recommend effective resolutions.
  • Collaborate with Senior Architects to ensure architectural consistency across projects.
  • Develop technical documentation, diagrams, and deployment guides for project teams.
  • Provide technical support to delivery teams during implementation.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of professional technical experience preferably with 2-4 years of experience in solution design, or architecture roles.

    • Backup and Disaster Recovery Platforms:
      • Veeam Backup & Replication

      • Rubrik
  • Broad technical expertise across multiple domains (e.g., hybrid cloud, distributed systems, security).
    • Relevant professional certifications preferred.
      • Broadcom VCF 9 Implementation
      • Nutanix Platform Expert (NPX) / Nutanix Certified Expert - Multicloud Infrastructure (NCX-MCI)
      • HPE Master ASE / HPE ASE – Compute Solutions Architect / HPE ASE – Storage Solutions Architec
      • Dell Technologies Certified Master, Dell Technologies Certified Specialist, Dell Technologies Certified Expert
      • Cisco UCS Design & Implementation Specialist
      • Pure Storage Certified Professional (PSCP)
      • NetApp Certified Storage Installation Engineer (NCSIE)
      • Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)
      • Cohesity Certified Technical Architect (CCTA)
      • Rubrik Certified System Administrator(RCSA)
  • Experience implementing enterprise solutions in real-world client or enterprise environments.
  • Experience contributing to technical assessments, designs or proofs of concept.
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to approach client and sales requests in a proactive and consultative manner; listen and understand user requests and needs and effectively deliver
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting and presenting technical solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in team-based environments with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to travel if required.

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.

$180,000$200,000 USD
