Summary:
The Sales Specialist - Vacuum Products will support the regional direct and distribution sales channels to drive disproportionate organic growth of targeted industrial products. This role will focus on delivering sales growth, identifying business development opportunities, and providing technical expertise to internal and external customers.
This position will work closely with regional end user sales engineers, sales managers, distribution sales teams, product management, corporate communications, engineering, After Market and operations as appropriate.
Responsibilities:

Meet and/or exceed sales targets for applicable products in the sales region

Collaborate with regional end user sales engineers, sales managers, and distribution sales teams to drive sales growth.

Identify and define business development opportunities within the assigned region.

Use analytics to prepare plans which assist our teams in securing the business.

Develop and implement business development "programs" and sales strategies with the Sales team and Operations to grow the business profitably

Provide input to the proposal process and develop strategies to ensure we make the most competitive technical and commercial offerings.

Support Management in the settlement of warranty disputes and field problems.

Develop a proficient working knowledge of Flowserve's products and serve as a subject-matter expert to both internal and external customers.

Actively provide input into the product development teams and support their initiatives.

Communicate effectively with plant manager, engineering, customer service, and other personnel to ensure objectives are achieved.

Routinely report activities to Management on all pertinent issues related to market changes through use of Monthly forecast, Weekly reports, and other reports as may be directed.

The ideal candidate will embrace change management and is expected to cope with evolving and changing priorities.

Deliver matrix bookings quotas will be based on the geographical area or market area.
Requirements:
-
Engineering degree (Process, Chemical, or Mechanical) or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in the vacuum pump industry, with a strong focus on sales and technical support. Additionally, 5+ years in a Technical Advisor or similar role, with proven expertise in business development and driving sales growth.

Strong knowledge of vacuum pumps, compressors, and systems.

Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills.

Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM programs (such as Salesforce).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to travel 50% across the Western region, including California, Arizona, New Mexico, and southern Nevada.
Preferred Experience/Skills:

Project Management experience is a plus.

Base pay range: 116,146.77–174,220.16
We also offer a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) of 40%.
