About Vercel:

Vercel gives developers the tools and cloud infrastructure to build, scale, and secure a faster, more personalized web. As the team behind v0, Next.js, and AI SDK, Vercel helps customers like Ramp, Supreme, PayPal, and Under Armour build for the AI-native web.

Our mission is to enable the world to ship the best products. That starts with creating a place where everyone can do their best work. Whether you're building on our platform, supporting our customers, or shaping our story: You can just ship things.

About the Role

We’re looking for a scrappy, creative, and technically curious v0 Marketer to help tell the v0 story in compelling, accessible, and trend-aware ways.

As a key member of the growing v0 team, you’ll be responsible for creating content that resonates with product leaders, founders, and the growing v0 builder community. You’ll lead the creation and execution of high-quality marketing initiatives—from writing blog posts and managing ad copy, to producing tutorials and overseeing creative contractors.

If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team.

What You’ll Do
  • Write compelling blog posts that highlight v0 use cases, product updates, and customer stories
  • Craft engaging social content across X, LinkedIn, and other platforms to drive awareness and engagement
  • Help produce short-form videos and tutorials to explain product features and showcase usage in a digestible, visual format
  • Manage external creatives and contractors to scale content production while maintaining brand quality
  • Review and approve ad creatives and messaging to ensure alignment with the v0 voice and strategy
  • Stay plugged into the latest industry trends and adapt messaging to stay fresh, relevant, and on-brand
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, DevRel, and Partnerships to align on go-to-market efforts
About You:
  • Exceptional writing and copy skills, with a portfolio to back it up
  • A strong sense of taste and understanding of what resonates with modern audiences
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing, ideally in a startup, SaaS, or developer tools environment
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling language that non-technical audiences can understand
  • A self-starter attitude with a strong sense of ownership and bias toward action
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and wearing multiple hats
Bonus Points
  • Experience with developer-focused tools, platforms, or products
  • Familiarity with video production or short-form content (e.g. Reels, Shorts, TikToks)
  • Background in working with technical products or developer communities.
  • Experience in event planning
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Marketo, and community platforms.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package, including equity.
  • Inclusive Healthcare Package.
  • Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
  • Flexible Time Off.
  • We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $90,0000 - $136,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
