Job Description

Fabletics is looking for a UI Designer II.

As a UI Designer II, you will play a key role in evolving and scaling our digital product experiences across web and mobile platforms. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, customer-centric design solutions that balance strong visual craft with thoughtful interaction design and UX best practices.

A major focus of this role is contributing to and maintaining our design system — ensuring consistency, scalability, and efficiency across feature development. You will partner closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Engineers, and Brand teams to translate business requirements and user needs into polished, production-ready UI solutions.

We’re looking for a designer who thrives in feature delivery, understands how to work within and evolve a design system, and can flex between UI precision and UX problem-solving.

This position will report to the Senior Manager, UX/UI Design.

What You Will Do:

  • Contribute to the evolution, documentation, and governance of our design system, ensuring consistency across platforms

  • Design and deliver high-quality UI solutions for new features and enhancements across web and mobile experiences

  • Create wireframes, high-fidelity comps, prototypes, and detailed annotations for engineering handoff

  • Apply strong interaction design principles to create intuitive, engaging user flows

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to bring features from concept to launch

  • Ensure design solutions align with brand standards, accessibility guidelines, and business objectives

  • Continuously refine and improve experiences based on feedback, data, and usability insights

What You Can Bring:

  • 3–5+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products

  • Strong experience contributing to and working within a scalable design system

  • Proven ability to deliver end-to-end feature work in a fast-paced environment

  • Solid understanding of interaction design patterns, usability principles, and accessibility standards

  • High proficiency in Figma (components, variants, auto layout, prototyping)

  • Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and consistency

  • Ability to flex between UI execution and UX thinking

  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills

Where we are:

  • This role will be based in our El Segundo Headquarters

Authorization Requirements:

  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
