About the Role / About You
We're looking for a UX/UI Designer who lives and breathes AI-native product design. You don't need blockchain experience. What matters is that you deeply understand how to design for AI-powered products and can translate technical complexity into clean, human-centered interfaces.

What You'll Do
  • Own UX and UI design for our AI products, including agent interfaces, model interaction flows, and developer-facing tools

  • Translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive user experiences — making the powerful feel simple

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and rapid prototyping to validate design decisions

  • Build and maintain a scalable design system across web and product surfaces

  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to ship design from concept to production

  • Use AI design tools (Figma AI, v0, Cursor, Midjourney, etc.) as part of your daily workflow — not as a novelty, but as a core multiplier

  • Contribute to product strategy by identifying UX opportunities and advocating for the user

What We're Looking For
  • 2–6 years of product design experience (UX + UI) with a strong portfolio

  • Demonstrable experience designing AI-native products — chatbots, agent interfaces, LLM-powered features, prompt-driven UIs, or similar

  • Native fluency with AI tools in your design workflow — you use AI to accelerate your work, not just talk about it

  • Strong systems thinking — able to design for complex information architecture while keeping the experience clean

  • Proficiency in Figma (required); familiarity with prototyping tools (Protopie, Framer, etc.) is a plus

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first, async environment

How to Apply

Please submit:

  1. Your portfolio — showcasing AI product design work or relevant product design case studies

  2. A brief note on a recent AI product UX challenge you solved and your approach

What we offer
  • Purpose: The opportunity to contribute to making AI a public good

  • Growth: A self-directed environment where you can take initiative to shape your role and career

  • Compensation: Market-competitive compensation including, for most roles, exposure to pre-launch tokens

In addition, 0G Labs is committed to the health and well being of all of our team members. To that end, we provide reimbursements towards a holistic set of experiences and courses:

  • Core self: Transcendental Meditation

  • Mind: Landmark Education

  • Emotion: Art of Communication

  • Presence: Speech Coach

  • Body: Fitness, gym and exercise memberships/classes

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
