ABOUT THIS POSITION
Aceable is looking for a motivated, curious, and detail-oriented UX Research Intern to support our growing research needs across multiple product teams. This part-time, temporary internship is ideal for someone looking to build real-world experience in user research while contributing to meaningful work that directly shapes product decisions.
As the UX Research Intern, you’ll work closely with our UX Researcher to conduct studies, prepare materials, analyze data, and share findings that impact the learner experience across our platforms. You’ll get exposure to a range of research methods and gain hands-on experience in an environment that values curiosity, rigor, and user empathy. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Help design and execute user research studies including usability tests, surveys, and interviews
- Recruit and schedule participants for research sessions
- Assist in developing research materials like scripts, interview guides, and test plans
- Conduct moderated and unmoderated sessions under supervision
- Organize and analyze both qualitative and quantitative research data
- Summarize findings and help create presentations or briefs for internal teams
- Support the team in managing and organizing research insights for ongoing use
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Interest in user-centered design and UX research practices
- Some experience conducting user research through coursework, projects, or previous internships
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Clear communication—both written and verbal
- Comfort with digital collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Zoom)
- Ability to manage time and tasks independently
Reside in one of the following locations: California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York (excluding Boroughs), North Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Washington.
BONUS POINTS
- Experience working with research data (e.g., analyzing trends, summarizing findings)
- Familiarity with tools like Typeform, Figma, Airtable, or Notion
- Background in human-computer interaction, psychology, design, or a related field
