Summary:

We are seeking a UX Research Intern to join our team and help improve our products through user-centered insights. You’ll work closely with designers to conduct research, analyze user behavior, and contribute to creating engaging and intuitive user experiences. If you’re passionate about understanding user needs and defining research practices, we’d love to hear from you!

 


Location:
We have offices in Wilmington, NC and Austin, TX and while some positions are office based, we will also consider remote candidates in our preferred time zones of CST/EST.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the transition to a new UXR platform and help set up the platform for anyone in our organization to use.
  • Help establish best practices and training materials to set non-researchers up to conduct research and to expand our research practice.
  • Assist in planning and conducting user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to uncover user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
  • Synthesize research findings into actionable recommendations for product and design teams.
  • Support the creation of personas, journey maps, and user flows based on research insights.
  • Document research findings for presentation to stakeholders.


Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in UX Research, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of UX research methods and principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with research tools and platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Figma is a bonus.
