Who are you? / About You

We are seeking an experienced UX Designer (Mobile) to join an established mobile application development team, contributing their expertise and helping to scale our industry leading platform.

As a designer, you will be responsible for driving user-centered design processes. You will execute existing and new design best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver intuitive, innovative, and impactful digital experiences.

What you'll do:

Design Execution:

  • Develop and refine wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity visual designs in accordance with product/user requirements.

  • Conduct and analyze user research, usability testing, and data to inform design decisions alongside product management counterpart.

  • Partner with product management and contribute to roadmap initiatives from discovery to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Design Systems and Practice:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the UX vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business goals and user needs.

  • Advance existing mobile design patterns and practices for both iOS and Android platforms.

  • Execute user-centered design principles and represent the voice of the user throughout the development of mockups, prototypes, and delivered features.

  • Work with other design team members to create and maintain visual and experiential consistency across products and features. Contributing to the existing and future design system(s).

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design practices and outputs into day-to-day development processes.

  • Communicate design rationale and present solutions to various audiences, including internal and external stakeholders.

  • Facilitate workshops and design sprints to drive alignment, innovation, all while ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high quality standard.

What Performance Looks Like:
  • Within your first 3 months you will have fully embedded into a product team and you are contributing design requirements into existing projects. You are building low and high fidelity prototypes, leading user research and testing, and helping to ensure the product vision is delivered. Most importantly, you have a deep understanding of our customers and you are proficient at translating their problems into well-defined solutions.

Your Experience:
  • Independent project experience in UX/UI design, with a background in both mobile and web applications.

  • Ability to balance user needs with business objectives and technical constraints.

  • Strong understanding of user research methods, accessibility standards, and mobile design standards.

  • Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and work management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.

  • Ability to contribute to project requirements with little to no supervision required, ensuring commitments and deadlines are met or exceeded.

  • High emotional intelligence (EQ).
