Job Summary

The User Experience Designer will focus on designing user-centric, cross-department internal systems/platforms that enhance collaboration and efficiency across our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of user experience design principles and a passion for creating interfaces that are both functional and visually appealing.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners and engineers to enhance both new and existing features by validating and translating needs into deliverables that ensure clarity and alignment across the organization.
  • Perform in-depth internal research to develop and document user-centric processes. Continuously refine UX solutions through feedback and usability testing, focusing on ease of use and clear information delivery.
  • Stay updated with current UX trends and principles, and act as an advocate for user experience best practices within the enterprise environment. Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain UX design guidelines and standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all internal tools.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year)
  • 3-5 Years related work experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written/visual; able to conceptualize ideas via sketching, workshops, wireframes, presentations etc. and deliver information to varied audiences.
  • Strong collaborator that demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly proficient in systems-level design thinking with strong instincts and intuition informed by user needs/insights
  • Demonstrated experience with design facilitation, Sketch, Figma or XD, prototyping tools, and JIRA.
  • Extensive experience in UX design best practices as it relates to internal systems, websites and mobile apps.
  • Dedication to best-in-class user experience with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to apply design principles across web and mobile apps.
  • Ability to understand a variety of user needs with an eye on designing for those specific needs.
  • Excellent project management skills.

Payscale: $$96,611.00 - $137,434.96 Annual

Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
