Haus is seeking a UX Designer to join our Los Angeles team. In this role, you will shape how components behave, scale, and hold up across a robust design system; defining interaction logic, accessibility standards, and cross-platform rules that guide every visual component in the system. You will report to the Creative Director and work closely with UI Designers, engineers, and internal client stakeholders.
Requirements
What you'll do:
- Dictate user experience as it relates to components and design systems
- Define how components behave, including different states, transitions, and edge cases
- Ensure components work well across devices, from phone to tablet to desktop
- Account for localization needs such as translated text length and different reading directions
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA), including color contrast and touch target sizing
- Express design system documentation in a clear and accurate way, including usage guidelines and Do's and Don'ts
- Partner with UI designers to ensure design logic and visual execution stay aligned
What you'll bring:
- 4+ years of UX design experience with design systems or component-based design
- Familiarity with common commerce and account UX patterns, including checkout, account management, forms, error states, confirmation flows, etc.
- Strong Figma skills, including experience with components, variants, and auto layout
- A solid understanding of accessibility standards and how to apply them to components
- Great writing and communication skills
- Experience working in a sprint-based environment (using Jira, Confluence, or similar)
- A collaborative mindset to work alongside Creative Directors and UI Designers

The estimated compensation for this position is $95K–$150K per year depending on experience, plus a 401k, medical, dental, vision, life and optional benefits, paid time off, fun events and more.
