Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Produce timely and accurate research publications highlighting market trends and potential trade ideas. Author and contribute to eight daily/weekly/monthly publications produced by the team which are read by over 5000+ clients. Manage the highly complex monthly rebalancing process of JPMC's flagship \"JULI Index\". Act as the primary go-to person for any internal (sales/traders) or external (clients) queries on our index data / research report / market views. Functionally manage the offshore Mumbai team and be responsible for the efficient allocation of priorities and tasks to streamline workflow between NY and Mumbai team. Build, maintain and improve detailed data sets covering several topics including corporate bond issuance, credit market fundamentals data, foreign demand data and trends, Mutual fund and ETF flows and credit rating trends for the US IG Corporate bond market. Maintain and enhance the team slide decks used for internal and external meetings. Attend and contribute to client meetings in person and through remote tools. Maintain large data sets from JPMC's third party vendors including analyses of the data and quality control checks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Credit Strategy Associate, Financial Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: credit or treasury markets including market composition, key participants, drivers of spreads and yields, supply and demand trends and curve dynamics; writing research notes and generating positioning recommendations accompanied by supporting quantitative research and analysis the proposals. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: designing and developing pricing and relative value strategy models using Excel functionalities including vlookup, index match, data analysis addons, pivots, VBA, and Python; Writing SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data stored in relational databases efficiently using query optimization; Performing data analysis using statistical and econometric techniques and applying methods such as linear/multivariate regression and predictive modeling; Performing data extraction and analysis using BQL queries, Bloomberg Terminal and its API.

Full-Time. Salary: $205,000 - $285,000 per year.
