$117,390.00 - $183,421.88

The US Business Development Manager is responsible for executing the business development strategy in designated US markets, focusing on identifying, evaluating, and securing new business opportunities that advance Mars Veterinary Health’s mission. This role involves building relationships with key stakeholders, managing the acquisition process, and ensuring alignment with MVH’s strategic objectives. The position supports the Sr. Director Business Development in driving growth and enhancing MVH’s market presence in the US.

You Will:

  • Execute the business development strategy in US markets, ensuring alignment with MVH’s growth objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and market trends to drive growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential partners and clients. Lead and manage the acquisition process, from origination to execution, ensuring efficient and effective transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of new business opportunities.
  • Maintain professional communication with internal functions and provide regular updates on business development activities.
  • Prepare investment cases and budgets for new business opportunities.
  • Support the Business Development Sr. Director in strategic planning and execution of business development initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on integration milestones, partnership outcomes, and growth KPIs.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and provide insights to inform business development decisions.
  • The Business Development Manager operates within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working closely with the Business Development Senior Director and other team members.
  • The role requires strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • The position involves regular interaction with internal and external partners to ensure successful execution of business development initiatives within the US market.

Your Experience Should Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in business development or related fields.
  • Solid experience in managing business development processes, including acquisitions.
  • Experience in the healthcare or veterinary industry is desirable but not required.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen and financial literacy
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English.

Salary range: $117,390 - $183,422

Compensation is determined based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, location, and market competitiveness.

  • Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
