About the Role
As an Underwriting Analyst you will have insurance experience in addition to strong customer service and analytical skills. We’re looking for candidates who:

- Participates with Cyber Underwriters in the new business and account renewals that support underwriting decisions that are consistent with Converge growth and retention goals.
- Partners with Underwriters to establish support needs for new and in force policies (i.e., identify / gather relevant account information to quote and / or bind the policy etc.)
- May prepare underwriting referrals (i.e., security exposures, security controls, updated account information, etc.)
- Manages account documentation (i.e., proposals, certificates, collateral agreements, policy change, endorsements, cancellations, broker record changes, letters of experience etc.)
- Communicates with brokers / agencies, insureds / customers, and internal departments. (i.e., researches and resolves issues, responds to inquiries and questions).
- Provides administrative support and other related services as needed (e.g., input account information into system).
- Participates in projects / assignments as needed.
- Responsible for all administrative tasks associated with assisting the underwriter with the full lifecycle of a risk.
- Reserve new business quotes
- Prepping files for renewal including file organization, loss runs and contract comparison
- Issuing new business policies, renewal rewrites, and endorsements including document creation, file maintenance and systems updates
- Issuing decline letters
- Maintain underwriting files and documentation to the required standards
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships with both internal Underwriters, Sales teams, and external customers
- Undertake ongoing compliance and regulatory training as required.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Present positive customer experience for clients and to colleagues. Work effectively as part of the team.
- Assist in completion of ad-hoc projects that arise
Qualifications Desired
- 1–5+ years of experience in Cyber Insurance
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize work effectively and meet deadlines
- Highly organized, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to handle customer service inquiries, collaborate with insurance professionals, and follow both written and verbal instructions
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, industry trends, and emerging technologies/tools relevant to cyber risk
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
