Pragmatike is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing AI and trading startup building the first orchestration protocol that unifies all trading dimensions under a single AI-powered layer. The platform enables seamless trading across crypto and traditional financial markets, combining institutional-grade strategies with cutting-edge technology.

We are looking for a UI/UX & Motion Designer to craft visually compelling product experiences, from interface design to dynamic animations and product videos. This is a hybrid role where design, motion, and product storytelling intersect, enabling the platform to communicate its vision through engaging visuals and user-centric experiences.

What You’ll Do
  • Produce high-impact product presentation videos for landing pages, demos, ads, and social content

  • Design UI animations, micro-interactions, and product walkthroughs

  • Create product mockups for web apps, dashboards, and mobile interfaces

  • Develop animated branding assets including logos and dynamic visual identities

  • Leverage AI creative tools to generate innovative visuals and concepts

  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to integrate design with functionality

  • Contribute to product storytelling, user experience, and visual strategy

What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in motion design and/or product design

  • Strong portfolio showcasing product videos and UI motion work (mandatory)

  • Comfortable in fast-paced startup environments with high ownership

  • Strong interest in SaaS, AI, fintech, or crypto ecosystems

  • Ability to quickly understand technical products and translate them into engaging visuals

  • Deep design culture and continuous exploration of AI-driven creative tools

Bonus Points
  • Experience designing for fintech, crypto, or Web3 platforms

  • Experience with 3D tools and real-time animation

  • Familiarity with interactive prototyping tools (Webflow, Framer)

  • Previous work with data-heavy dashboards or complex SaaS interfaces

Why This Role Will Pivot Your Career
  • Shape the visual identity and user experience of an AI-first trading platform

  • Direct impact on how users interact with real-money trading systems

  • Exposure to both crypto and traditional financial markets

  • High creative ownership and influence on product storytelling

  • Work at the intersection of AI, design, and scalable product architecture

Technology & Tools
  • Design & Animation: After Effects, Premiere, Blender or equivalent 3D tools

  • UI/UX: Figma, interactive prototyping (Framer, Webflow optional)

  • AI Creative Tools: Runway, Midjourney, Pika, Sora-like tools

  • Flexible workflow: Output quality and creative impact prioritized over tool choice

Benefits
  • Competitive compensation commensurate with experience

  • Fully remote-friendly with flexible working hours

  • Access to cutting-edge AI and creative technologies

  • High ownership over product visuals and user experience

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
