Job Description

General Information: 
This is the U.S. application for the Summer 2026 Internship Program. This program is a full-time, in-person opportunity. The application is intended for current university students with graduation dates between December 2026 – June 2027. Please only submit this application once per cycle.  

 

Application Process: 
All application materials must be submitted by November 7th, 2025.  

 
Locations and Departments: 
Please indicate your top two location preferences. Once selected, choose which departments are of top interest based on availability for that location. Note that internship locations and departments for internships vary each session and are contingent upon business needs. You may also select the same location for both your first and second location preferences.  

 

About our Internship: 
CAA’s world class internship is an educational, hands-on and project-based experience. Interns will have the opportunity to network with agents and industry executives, develop personally and professionally through our in-house professional development courses and hear from Agents/Executives across the agency during our Speaker Series. The Summer 2026 Internship Program is an in-person, full-time opportunity from June 15th to August 7th. Overtime will not be permitted. All internships are paid employment opportunities. Interns are responsible for their own transportation and housing.  

  

Please note that internship responsibilities will vary not only by location, but also by department and business needs. In general, interns may: 

  • Perform research on clients, trends, brands and emerging media/technology 
  • Create pitch deck materials, sizzle reels and timecode videos 
  • Read scripts and provide script coverage (Motion Pictures and Television interns) 
  • Route a fictitious tour (Music and Comedy interns only) 
  • Present, in small groups or singularly, to department points of contact 
  • Update existing grids or create new grids for additional tracking 
  • Shadow Mailroom Clerks and department Assistants, sometimes on a rotational basis 
  • Collectively work on a community service project 

 

Eligibility for Internships: 

  • Applicants must be able to work full-time at 40 hours per week in-person 
  • Applicants should have a graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027 
  • Individuals who now or in the future require visa sponsorship are not eligible for our internship or full-time opportunities 

 

About our Departments: 

Do you have experience working with talent? Our Agents in these groups work with world-class clients across departments, ranging from traditional Motion Pictures and Television to Sports and Video Games. We represent individuals on-screen, on-field, on-air, and on-stage! 

  • Commercial Endorsements, Digital Media, Motion Pictures – Talent, Motion Pictures – Production, Podcast, Theatre, Television – News, Television - Nonscripted and Documentary, Television – Production, Television – Research, Television – Talent, and Video Games, Speakers 

 

Our Literary groups represent writers, authors, directors and producers who are behind some of the most successful books, films, and TV shows. If you have experience in development or reading scripts, these groups might be of interest! 

  • Book Publishing, Book Rights, Media Finance, Motion Pictures – Literary, and Television – Scripted 

 

Do you have experience in marketing within the sports and entertainment industries? We have many groups that focus specifically on the marketing of our clients - both individuals and brands. 

  • Brand Consulting – Sports & Entertainment, Brand Studio - Brand Marketing, Golf - Brand Consulting, Motion Pictures – Marketing, and Music Marketing, Music Brand Partnerships, Commercial Endorsements 

 

Have a passion for graphic design? These groups work to create graphics to support our clients. Candidates interested in these groups must submit a portfolio to be considered. 

  • Basketball - Graphic Design, Brand Consulting - Graphic Design, Brand Studio - Graphic Design, Golf - Brand Consulting - Graphic Design, and Creative Services  

 

Have a natural aptitude toward storytelling through data? Our data team provides advanced data solutions and strategic analysis to enhance the creation of opportunities for world-class clients across Film, TV, Music, Sports, Digital Media, and beyond. 

  • Brand Consulting - Data + Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Insights, and Data Science 

 

CAA Sports represents more than 3,000 of the world's best athletes, coaches, on-air broadcasters, and sports personalities. CAA Sports also works in the areas of broadcast rights, corporate marketing initiatives, licensing, hospitality, and sports properties for sales/sponsorships. 

  • Baseball, Basketball, Broadcast, Brand Consulting, Hockey, and Partnership Sales 

 

Have experience and a passion for planning live music, comedy shows, or events? The below groups work to help schedule tours for our clients in music, comedy, and speakers. 

  • Comedy Touring, Music Touring, and Speakers 

 

Our CAA Corporate teams work across the entire agency to support our people and businesses. We hire, welcome, integrate, and provide learning opportunities for our colleagues. Additionally, we develop systems and tools to enable CAA to operate on a global scale. 

  • Cultural Business Strategy, Foundation, Human Resources, Technology - Information Risk Management and Product Management 

 

Have an MBA and an interest in entertainment, media and sports? We are hiring MBA interns for the following groups:  

  • Strategic Client Advisory acts as strategic advisors on all film and TV topics. 
  • Talent Business Ventures, which supports prolific and entrepreneurial clients in their brand and business-building endeavors. 
  • Strategic Development leads the company’s efforts across corporate strategy, acquisitions, investments, business operations, and strategic partnerships. 
  • Evolution provides investment bank services to clients including advisory, capital raising, IPO and SPAC advisory, strategic advisory and more.

 

Compensation 

The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $7.25 - $17.87. Ultimately, hourly rates for interns are determined by geographic location, among other criteria. Please talk with a CAA Recruiter to learn more.
