Purpose:

Join Athene's growing Treasury team – an exciting and dynamic team! The Senior Financial Analyst will provide support to both the COO of Apollo Treasury and Head of Capital Markets – Apollo and Athene. This role will support the Treasury team by leveraging tools such as Kyriba, Power BI, Tableau, Hyperion, or other EPM platforms to deliver insightful reporting, process improvements, and executive-ready presentations. In addition, the position will play a key role in capital markets activities, including Funding Agreement Backed Note (FABN) reporting and deal execution.


Accountabilities:

  • Develop analytical insights using Excel, Business Intelligence, and Treasury system tools
  • Assist in the preparation of executive presentations, reports, and dashboards that communicate Treasury insights to senior leadership
  • Manage process improvement initiatives and strategic efficiency projects for reporting and data analysis
  • Enhance liquidity and capital analytics reporting to support decision-making
  • Explore emerging technologies and AI tools to advance Treasury processes
  • Support Treasury Management System and EPM software solution configuration, streamline workflows, and support system upgrades or enhancements
  • Contribute to special projects and other initiatives as needed
  • Support the execution of capital markets transactions and manage reporting for both Athene HoldCo debt issuances and the FABN program
  • Develop and maintain marketing materials and investor presentations
  • Prepare weekly indicative pricing updates by compiling bank data, coordinating with actuarial teams, and distributing to Athene and Apollo stakeholders
  • Support quarterly reporting for all funding agreement-related activities


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Treasury, capital markets, treasury operations, or business/system analytics
  • Hands-on experience with Treasury Management Systems (e.g., Kyriba) or Business Intelligence/EPM tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Hyperion, Anaplan) preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Interest in emerging technology and AI is a plus
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • General understanding of debt capital markets and capital structure composition
  • Familiarity with basic insurance and asset management ratios and metrics is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, management, economics or equivalent work experience is required


$111,040.00 - $166,560.00 USD Annual


Annual Salary for this role is market competitive.  Actual salary for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.  Depending on the role, a discretionary bonus plan or variable sales incentive may be included.
