Traveling Construction Opportunities – Multiple States

Our traveling teams support projects in data centers, semiconductor facilities, advanced manufacturing, industrial facilities, mission-critical environments, and other large-scale commercial projects.

About the Role

The Traveling Project Engineer supports the planning, coordination, and execution of industrial mechanical construction projects across multiple states. Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and clients, this role helps keep projects organized, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with safety and quality standards.

Our projects include data centers, semiconductor facilities, advanced manufacturing, industrial facilities, and other mission-critical environments.

What You'll Do

  • Support Project Managers with daily project planning and execution.
  • Assist with project schedules, cost tracking, budgets, and reporting.
  • Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, contracts, change orders, and drawings.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, engineers, clients, and field teams.
  • Track material procurement, deliveries, and project resources.
  • Monitor project progress and help identify and resolve issues.
  • Support quality control, safety, and project compliance.
  • Participate in project meetings, site walks, and coordination activities.
  • Assist with project closeout and lessons-learned reviews.

What You'll Bring

  • 1–3 years of experience in industrial mechanical construction, engineering, or project support preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification required or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Understanding of construction scheduling, cost tracking, and project coordination.
  • Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar software is a plus.
  • Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with field and project teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently and work on projects across multiple states.
