About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Training Manager to join our Sales Training team. In this role, you will play a critical part in elevating the performance of our Resolution Officers by systematically monitoring live and recorded sales calls, identifying coaching opportunities, and designing targeted training programs to address performance gaps. You will turn real-world call insights into actionable learning experiences that improve closing rates, customer experience, and overall sales effectiveness.

What You’ll Do 
  • Regularly review recorded sales calls and occasionally observe live calls across the team to evaluate adherence to sales methodology, objection handling, value communication, discovery techniques, and closing skills.

  • Pinpoint common errors, recurring weaknesses, and best practices through call analysis. Categorize issues such as: poor qualification, weak value propositions, ineffective handling of stalls/objections.

  • Design and deliver customized training programs, workshops, role-plays, and coaching sessions based on call insights and identified skill gaps.

  • Build high-quality content, including call scripts, cheat sheets, objection-handling frameworks, success story libraries, and interactive training exercises.

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group coaching sessions, feedback, and personalized development plans to help individuals improve their call performance.

  • Track key metrics (call quality scores, conversion rates, win rates, etc.) before and after training interventions to demonstrate ROI and continuously refine programs.

  • Partner closely with Sales Managers, Enablement leaders, and frontline reps to align training initiatives with business goals and evolving sales strategies.

  • Manage ongoing training cadence and maintain a central repository of training materials and call examples, both positive and negative.

  • Keep up-to-date with industry best practices in sales methodologies and training techniques.

 What You Bring
  • 2-4+ years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, or sales leadership with a strong track record of improving sales performance.
  • Previous experience as a sales rep or sales manager is highly preferred. You MUST understand the realities of making sales calls.

  • Proven ability to analyze sales conversations and translate observations into effective learning programs.

  • Experience with call recording platforms like Gong, Chorus, Zoom, or RingCentral is a big plus.



  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate ot bachelor's degree a plus.

Pay Transparency Statement - The expected compensation range for this position is $85,000 – $90,000 per year. This represents a good-faith estimate of the compensation range that Tax Relief Advocates reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of hire. Final compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary based on factors including (but not limited to) experience, skills, education, location, internal equity, and market conditions.
