Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Communication Strategies: Design, implement, and manage comprehensive communication strategies and plans for all training, learning, and development initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving engagement
- Create Engaging Content: Develop, write, edit, and distribute compelling communication materials (e.g., announcements, newsletters, web content, emails, presentations, videos) that promote training programs and convey key learning messages
- Drive Internal Engagement: Oversee all internal communications related to training, building awareness, participation, and excitement for learning opportunities across all employee levels, including agents and coaches
- Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with Learning & Development, HR, leadership, and other departments to ensure consistent messaging, integrate training communications seamlessly, and advocate for program value
- Manage Communication Channels & Platforms: Optimize and leverage various communication platforms and tools, including intranets, email systems, internal social networks, and Learning Management Systems (LMS), to effectively disseminate training content
- Measure and Optimize Performance: Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of communication efforts using data and feedback to continuously refine strategies, solve challenges, and improve engagement
- Ensure Brand and Message Consistency: Maintain a clear, concise, and compelling voice in all training communications, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and a consistent tone
- Lead Communication Projects: Manage communication projects from planning through execution, coordinating timelines, resources, and stakeholder input effectively
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- (Preferred) Relevant certifications in communications, change management, or project management
- 3+ years in internal, corporate, or marketing communications, with a focus on training or L&D
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies and content creation
Skills and Qualifications:
- Exceptional Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication, skilled in crafting clear, engaging, and persuasive content for diverse audiences
- Strategic & Creative Thinking: Ability to develop impactful communication strategies and create compelling content and narratives
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and coordinate across teams
- Digital Proficiency: Expertise with internal communication platforms, email marketing, CMS, and ideally LMS
- Data-Driven: Ability to analyze communication metrics and use insights to optimize strategies
- Collaboration & Influence: Excellent at building relationships and partnering with L&D, HR, and leadership
