Company Description
The Trade Sales Planning Analyst will be responsible for working with Red Bull sales partners in providing a trade sales demand forecast monthly, by month and full year. The right candidate for this role will support the sales teams with relevant insights, analysis, and projections to improve forecast accuracy by SKU.
To succeed in this role, you should embody the Red Bull values, be highly analytical, and possess excellent communication skills. Field experience working with customer teams and/or a DSD distribution network are preferred, but not required.
Job Description
SUPPORT
Collaborate and support Sales team with actionable data to improve sales forecast accuracy.
Provide leading edge forecasting solutions, utilizing and understanding Circana and Nielsen syndicated data, customer offtake data, and Trade Sales data
Deliver Promotion evaluation (volume uplift / cannibalization) and guidelines to support sales teams forecast
Advise and support Sales Teams with volume recommendations
Follow up with teams to adjust volumes in CPM after monthly volume calls, including utilization of SKU Level Planning Tool
Familiarize and utilize Red Bull's internal tools and processes to aid in resolving issues and answering questions quick and efficiently
Establish and promote best practices across all supported accounts
ANALYSIS
Deliver ad hoc analysis against tight deadlines to support the S&OP monthly process
Create, develop, and deliver monthly forecasting reviews with sales teams
Diligently review and maintain oversight over the Monthly Volume Call File for the respective channel responsibilities
Utilize Forecast Accuracy Dashboard to monitor and improve upon forecast accuracy in alignment with company accuracy targets
RESULTS
Responsible for updated and timely Sales team data Input into the Monthly Volume Call File
Responsible for SKU forecasting accuracy of supported accounts
Qualifications
3+ years of experience working for CPG companies managing forecasting for key accounts. Experience in forecasting beverage businesses highly desired
Strong business acumen in trade promotional planning, sales forecasting concepts baseline, lift, cannibalization, new product Introductions, limited time offers, promotional pre-dip and post-dip, business seasonality, organic growth.
Self-motivated and resourceful, able to creatively problem solve as issues and questions arise
Communicate effectively with parties both internal and external and across many levels of the organization
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite (including power point and excel) and advanced data analysis
Additional Information
Compensation: $64,000 - $102,000
Actual compensation offers may vary based on certain factors, including but not limited to experience.
