The Threat Analytics group at BioCatch is a highly impactful global team of consultants dedicated to solving the world’s most complex fraud and financial crime challenges. We partner with customers and internal stakeholders to uncover patterns in digital behavior that reveal risk, protect consumers, and build trust in the financial ecosystem.


The Role

We’re seeking a hands-on, innovative Threat Analyst – Automation & Reporting to accelerate our transformation toward automated analytics and insight generation.

This individual will take ownership of developing scalable data pipelines, automated reporting frameworks, and advanced analytical tools that improve the speed, quality, and consistency of our threat analysis delivery across the globe.

Your work will directly enable Threat Analysts to focus on high-value fraud insights instead of manual data tasks — driving measurable efficiency and impact.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain automated data pipelines and reporting assets that support global Threat Analytics delivery.
  • Partner with Data Engineering and internal stakeholders to align on data models, infrastructure, and delivery timelines.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and automated reporting solutions that standardize and scale the team’s analytics outputs.
  • Contribute to the AI enablement of the Threat Analytics function, exploring and implementing solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI, Copilot, and Python-based automation.
  • Leverage domain knowledge to refine fraud metrics and enhance visibility into threat detection performance.
  • Drive best practices, process efficiency, and standardization across the global Threat Analytics team.
  • Collaborate across time zones to deliver timely, high-quality insights that enable smarter decisions and stronger fraud defenses.

About You

You’re a curious, solutions-focused data professional who thrives in building things that make others more effective. You enjoy diving into data, experimenting with automation, and turning complex problems into elegant technical solutions. You’re resourceful, collaborative, and have the initiative to figure things out independently.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong SQL skills; Snowflake experience preferred.
  • Proven experience designing and maintaining automated analytical pipelines and reporting frameworks.
  • Degree in computer science, statistics, information systems or a comparable vocation
  • Fluent English
  • Advanced Power BI development experience, including DAX and model optimization.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Fabric and Azure ecosystems.
  • Python proficiency for automation, data wrangling, and integration with Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with Spark or similar distributed data frameworks a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with a globally distributed team.
  • A creative and proactive mindset with a passion for innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Salary range: 120k-135k annual (For US-based applicants only)
