Responsibilities:
• Develop a test strategy and test plan to achieve test objectives and requirements.
• Manage the resources necessary to accomplish all phases of a test event, planning,
execution, analysis and reporting.
• Delegate and direct successful execution of a test event in accordance with the test
plan and within the required time constraints.
• Use the risk management process to manage risks associated with test planning and
issues encountered during test execution.
• Resolve programmatic and technical conflicts that arise during the conduct of the
event.
• Present test results in a clear, concise report that gives the customer meaningful
information regarding the system's ability to meet the test objectives and requirements.
• Brief test design plans and test results to test team.
• Develop test cases/test procedures that trace to test requirements and objectives.
• Develop operational mission-based scenarios to support test events.
• Work in a team environment to ensure that customers, management, and test
participants are properly updated on test event progress and on specific technical or
programmatic issues that require their attention.
• Track system issues using configuration management software such as CMPro, JIRA,
etc.
Qualifications:
Minimum Position Requirements:
• Four years of quality assurance or testing experience.
• Understanding and ability to apply Scientific Test and Analysis Techniques (STAT) and
Design of Experiments (DoE)
• Project management experience.
• Configuration management experience.
• Knowledge on test support tools such as M&S tools, data collection tools, data analysis
tools, test automation tools, and network analyzers.
• Testing concepts/methodologies (Scenario, Negative, Regression, RTM).
• Ability to communicate technical content both orally and in writing.
• Develop test documentation that includes, but not limited to test plans, test reports,
test procedures, problem reports, architecture diagrams, and topical briefings.
• Possess and maintain currency in respective field; understand emerging processes,
methodologies, and technical advancements.
• Provide accurate and timely testing expertise in support of assigned tasking.
• Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance is required.
Desired Position Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB)/CSTP-X.
• Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST).
• Project Management Professional (PMP).
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
• Knowledge of USMC C4I systems and MAGTF architectures.
