The Territory Sales Manager will build client relationships, promote payroll software, generate leads, conduct sales presentations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Hourly, Inc., is seeking an Outside Territory Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong background in sales, finance, and payroll processes. The Payroll Sales Advisor will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and promoting our payroll software solutions to a wide range of customers. This is a fast-paced role that requires a high degree of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain effective relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Work closely with the regional sales and underwriting team
- Conduct regular sales calls, presentations, and demos to promote Hourly's payroll software solutions to potential customers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted outreach campaigns, lead-generation activities, and referrals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective marketing strategies, promotions, and campaigns
- Prepare and deliver detailed proposals and contracts that meet client needs and regulatory requirements
- Actively participate in team meetings and product training sessions to stay abreast of current trends and developments in the payroll software industry
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and respond quickly to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or a related field required
- 2+ years of insurance carrier, wholesale or retail agency experience in customer service, sales or similar roles
- Knowledge of workers’ comp is required
- Experience working and partnering with insurance agencies preferred
- Strong understanding of payroll and finance processes, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

- W-2, Commissions Only
- Commission amounts will vary based on performance, but the expected annual arnings from commissions are approximately $200,000 to $400,000. Annualon-target earnings for a first-year Territory Sales Manager are $200K.
