ROCKWOOL is currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager, Southern California - a true professional with high energy and a proven track record of success who will represent the ROCKWOOL™ values of ambition, responsibility, integrity and efficiency.  The ideal candidate is based in Southern California with a territory covering Bakersfield south, AZ and Las Vegas.  This position has no direct reports and will report to the Regional Sales Manager.

The ROCKWOOL Group's main business area is building insulation, providing thermal comfort along with fire safety and acoustical comfort for all types of buildings.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Maintain existing business and expand ROCKWOOL’s position as a major supplier of stone wool insulation to the entire building insulation sector in both residential and commercial channels
  • Develop and nurture robust business relationships with customers and industry professionals including but not limited to commercial wholesale insulation and building material distributors, retail/LBM locations, contractors, architects and engineers
  • Maintain awareness of local competitive conditions
  • Achieve established sales and profit goals while operating within the allocated expense budget

What You Offer

  • 4+ years sales experience w/ strong track record of success in Building Materials/ Construction sales a MUST
  • Understanding of the commercial and residential construction process with experience working with distributors and contractors
  • College degree
  • Strong presentation and training skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Professional communication skills
  • Solid computer skills – MS Office Suite and CRM
  • Local travel with ability to travel overnights up to 40% of the time

The base salary range for this position is $95,000.00 - $120,000.00. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions. This position is bonus eligible.
