The Territory Sales Manager – Neurodiagnostics is responsible for driving new business and expanding existing relationships across Cadwell’s Neurodiagnostic product portfolio, including EEG and EMG systems. This field-based sales role emphasizes active prospecting, in-person product demonstrations, and strategic territory planning to deliver consistent sales growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in clinical environments and can confidently present complex solutions to healthcare providers and decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales goals for assigned Neurodiagnostic product lines (EEG & EMG).
- Execute a high volume of prospecting activities, including cold outreach, referral development, and lead follow-up to build a robust pipeline.
- Conduct impactful in-person product demonstrations for physicians, technologists, and purchasing stakeholders.
- Develop and implement detailed territory business plans to maximize sales coverage and account engagement.
- Collaborate in team selling efforts with Sales Specialists, Electrode sales team, and IONM team to drive penetration in hospitals, IDNs, and KOL accounts.
- Perform on-site product installations and in-service training, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new customers.
- Attend industry trade shows, regional events, and continuing education courses as approved.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reporting and forecasting.
- Serve as a customer advocate by coordinating support and relaying feedback to internal departments.
- Stay current and technically proficient on all assigned product lines to position Cadwell as a clinical and technical leader.
- Continuously improve sales skills and market knowledge to enhance sales effectiveness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, healthcare, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 4+ years of professional sales experience, ideally in medical devices or diagnostics.
- Proven track record of success in territory-based sales with experience in product demonstrations and clinical selling.
Key Skills:
- Strong prospecting discipline and ability to independently develop leads and build territory coverage plans.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentations to clinical and executive audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a consultative and relationship-based selling style.
- Ability to assess client needs, identify solutions, and close complex sales.
- Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Comfortable navigating clinical environments and speaking the language of healthcare professionals.
Travel & Work Requirements:
- Approximately 80% travel within the assigned territory (average of 2 overnights per week), with occasional national travel.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours as required by client schedules and business needs.
- Territory assignments are subject to change at Cadwell’s discretion.
