Job Summary
The Territory Manager is responsible for maximizing profitable sales growth within assigned geographies and accounts based within their territory. Results are achieved by leading, developing and executing agreed upon sales and marketing plans.
Essential Functions
Description
- Achieves and exceeds sales and profitability targets, aligning with business and seasonal account plans to support the sales portfolio.
- Leverages existing account relationships to increase distribution and grow penetration within existing accounts.
- Advances sales approach and solutions, ensuring alignment with product strategies and the overarching brand vision.
- Evaluates defined territory market landscape, identifying and recommending growth opportunities.
- Delivers comprehensive business updates and reports, encompassing sell-in and sell-through performance, competitive analysis, product demand and availability, and market share insights to leadership and stakeholders.
- Drives sales process and continuous improvement initiatives in line with brand values consistently achieving and surpassing revenue goals.
- Collaborates closely with internal marketing and merchandising teams to develop and execute sell-through and activation strategies, ensuring programs are effectively implemented and products align with Specialty Sales Targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum two to five (2-5) years' experience in specialty footwear sales or account management.
- Growth mindset, strong analytical skills, adaptable, and able to support accounts with a new vision and strategy.
- Must currently reside within the territory (NB, IA , KS, MO, OK).
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
Any equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven track record of successfully developing brand relationships with new and existing partners.
- Documented experience working effectively in complex organizations, satisfying the needs of diverse constituents, and often working under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with moderate Excel/data management skills.
- Advanced verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and travel as needed.
Travel Required: Yes, up to 50% of the time.
Base Salary: $137,917.00 - $159,655.90 yearly
This range represents the low and high ends of this position's anticipated base salary range. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location.
