THE ROLE: SENIOR SUPPLY PLANNING ASSOCIATE

The Temporary Senior Supply Planning Associate plays a crucial role in OLLY’s Supply Chain by interpreting demand signals and creating achievable production plans. This role requires a close collaboration with the factory, Procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless production flow and successful innovation launches. The goal of a Supply Planner is to achieve the most risk averse production plan while maximizing inventory. Senior Supply Planners will accomplish this by understanding the forecast passed to them from their Demand Planners, working closely with their manufacturing counterparts, optimizing safety stocks, and mitigating waste.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interpret and analyze demand signals to create accurate and feasible production plans.
  • Adjust production plans as needed to accommodate changes in demand, supply disruptions, or other unforeseen factors
  • Work closely with third party manufacturing partners to develop and maintain realistic production schedules.
  • Monitor production progress and address any potential delays or issues with third parties in a prompt manner to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Lead regular meetings with factories and co-packers to review production plans, capacities, and constraints.
  • Work with factory partners to ensure optimal utilization of factory assets to meet production requirements without compromising quality.
  • Support innovation launches by partnering with the Project Management Team and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and timelines.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to manage the production ramp-up for new products.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of innovation launches, identifying and addressing any potential issues.

CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret demand signals and develop accurate production plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with factory personnel, Procurement, and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility and ownership for tasks and projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Holds oneself and others accountable for achieving high standards and meeting commitment
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships across various departments, effectively partnering to achieve common goals. Demonstrates the ability to influence and drive alignment among diverse teams, fostering a collaborative and cohesive work environment.
  • Proficient in supply chain management software and tools. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate and address potential issues proactively.

THE DETAILS

LOCATION: San Francisco, CA - Hybrid Schedule 1x/week in office

HOURS: 40 hours per week, non-exempt

MANAGER: Senior Supply Planning Manager

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. 

DURATION:  August–December 2025

The pay range for this position is $46.15-$50 per hour dependent on experience.
