Akerman LLP is seeking an experienced Temporary Full-Time Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to support a high-volume Labor & Employment practice. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong litigation support skills, including state and federal court filings, matter intake, and calendaring.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (Hybrid Work Schedule)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and electronically file documents in state and federal courts
  • Process matter intake requests and file openings
  • Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, and scheduling
  • Maintain and organize case files for a busy litigation practice
  • Draft correspondence and form letters
  • Provide administrative support, including direct client interaction
  • Utilize firm technology platforms and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial litigation and/or labor & employment administrative support experience
  • Advanced proficiency in electronic court filings (state and federal)
  • Strong calendaring and deadline management skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with iManage, Intapp, Emburse
  • Excellent typing, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Proficiency with the firm's technology platforms, including iManage, Intapp, Microsoft Office Suite, Emburse
  • Demonstrated ability to independently prepare and electronically file documents in both state and federal courts
  • Availability to consistently work the required schedule of 12:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines

Job Type:  Full-Time; Monday - Friday (Hybrid)

Salary Range: $46-$54 per hour; final hourly rate will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
