We are in relentless pursuit of an equitable and inspiring workplace that is respectful of all, reflects and represents the world in which we live, and fosters trust, collaboration and belonging. Consistent with this approach, we hire the best qualified candidates for all positions.

We’re looking for a Temporary Experiential Producer to bring ideas to life through live, physical, and immersive brand experiences. This role is responsible for translating creative concepts into executable plans—owning the process from early feasibility through on-site delivery.

You will work at the center of cross-functional teams, partnering with creative, design, and account leads to produce high-impact events, activations, and installations. Success in this role requires strong production instincts, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complexity without losing sight of the big idea.

Who You Are

You are a builder and a problem-solver. You understand how ideas become environments, and you know what it takes to execute them in the real world.

You’re highly organized, solutions-oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity. You can manage vendors, budgets, and timelines while maintaining the integrity of the creative vision. You’re as comfortable in a planning document as you are on-site during install.

Responsibilities
  • Lead experiential projects from concept through execution, including planning, fabrication, installation, and live event management
  • Translate creative ideas into production approaches, identifying feasibility, risks, and opportunities early
  • Develop and manage detailed budgets, timelines, and production schedules
  • Source, onboard, and manage vendors including fabricators, technical partners, and event production teams
  • Oversee fabrication processes, materials, and build quality to ensure alignment with design intent
  • Lead on-site execution, including load-in, install, show operations, and strike
  • Troubleshoot issues in real time and manage contingencies effectively
  • Partner with internal teams (creative, design, account) to ensure alignment from concept through delivery
  • Ensure all logistical, safety, and permitting requirements are met
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field (e.g., event production, marketing, communications, design, or similar)
  • At least 6 years of experience in experiential, event, or integrated production, with agency experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects from start to finish
  • Experience working with fabrication vendors and managing physical builds
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel and support on-site execution
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with immersive or interactive experiences
  • Familiarity with technical production (AV, lighting, staging)
  • Ability to read design drawings and floorplans

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.

DJEH offers a wide range of benefits: medical and dental insurance, vision, 401K, life insurance, disability insurance, paid time off, travel assistance and wellness programing.

DJEH is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and believes in diversity, equity, and inclusion. We seek applications from all qualified candidates without regard to race, color, gender, sex, age, religion, physical or mental disability, military and veteran status, or any other basis protected by federal, state or local law. If you require a reasonable accommodation in any part of the employment process, please let us know.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
