Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual functional, integration, regression, and interoperability testing for voice services on optical network termination equipment (ONTs).
- Validate SIP signaling flows and voice call scenarios using packet analysis tools.
- Analyze network traffic and troubleshoot issues using Wireshark and protocol traces.
- Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test reports.
- Perform end-to-end validation of voice services over IP networks.
- Work closely with developers, automation engineers, and QA teams located in Brazil and the United States.
- Identify, document, reproduce, and track defects through their complete lifecycle.
- Participate in laboratory setup, configuration, and maintenance of telecom testing environments.
- Validate network behavior involving TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, DHCP, DNS, and related protocols.
- Support verification of embedded software running on telecommunications devices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.
- Collaborate with automation teams and contribute to automation initiatives when applicable.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience as a Manual QA Engineer or Telecom Test Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP).
- Experience using Wireshark for packet capture and protocol analysis.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, UDP, and RTP.
- Experience creating and executing test cases, test plans, and defect reports.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot network and voice service issues.
- Experience working with embedded devices or hardware-based platforms.
- Upper-Intermediate or Advanced English for collaboration with international teams.

- Linux Command Line Interface (CLI).

- TR-069 protocol knowledge.
- SIPp for SIP traffic generation and validation.
- Experience with VoIP infrastructure and carrier-grade telecommunications solutions.
- Exposure to CI/CD and automated testing practices.
- Knowledge of broadband and fiber access network technologies.
