Key locations include Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Dallas, Chicago, New York, and the Washington D.C. Metro areas. This role offers flexibility, with up to 50% remote work and travel requirements varying by role.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced  Telecom Procurement Manager specializing in Cloud Interconnection to join our dynamic team. This role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication abilities to facilitate partnerships with network operators and datacenter providers. The ideal candidate will drive data-driven decision-making processes, support strategic initiatives, and ensure seamless collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

About Mibura's Edge Cloud Operations & Innovation (ECO+I):

Mibura's ECO+I is at the forefront of advancing cloud services, focusing on high-performance computing and AI acceleration. As a Telecom Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role by developing relationships with Datacenter & Telecom providers to deploy critical infrastructure for our global services.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sourcing team to gather and analyze data on network and datacenter providers.

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential suppliers and maintain a strategic database.

  • Assist in the creation of RFP/RFQ documents by providing detailed market analysis and supplier insights.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy with key telecommunications and data center providers (e.g., Equinix, Digital Realty, Vodafone, AT&T, Verizon, Telefonica).

  • Foster strong relationships with vendor sales and commercial teams, serving as a primary point of contact for communications, escalations, and issue resolution.

  • Evaluate supplier proposals using data-driven analysis to formulate recommendations for the sourcing team.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, finance, legal) to ensure data accuracy and compliance in supplier contracts.

  • Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to track supplier performance, market trends, and cost analysis to support budgeting and forecasting efforts.

  • Provide strategic insights derived from data analysis to influence network expansion and procurement strategies.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

  • Proven experience in project management within the telecommunications, cloud services, or data center industries.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive strategic decision-making.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Experience in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and resolving issues.

  • Proficiency in creating and delivering presentations to convey complex information clearly and effectively.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
