Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technology Sourcing Manager II to join our Transport Procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology procurement, vendor management, contract negotiation, and a deep understanding of Transport Networks. As a Technology Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing relationships with technology vendors to ensure the best value and quality for DISH Wireless.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with technology vendors, evaluate performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure vendor compliance
  • Implement sourcing strategies for Transport products and services, aligning with DISH Wireless's business goals
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential vendors, assess trends, and stay informed about new technologies
  • Lead contract negotiations with technology vendors, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with regulatory and financial requirements
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through effective sourcing strategies and process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technology needs and ensure timely procurement of products and services

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technology procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, preferably within the telecommunications or wireless industry

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of technology products and services, fiber optic networks, interconnection agreements, and datacenters
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and vendor management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,805.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
