Responsibilities

The Technology Platform Specialist plays a pivotal role in leveraging technology, specifically Employee Navigator, to optimize the delivery of employee benefits solutions. Working closely with our team of Account Managers and technology experts, you will ensure seamless integration and utilization of cutting-edge platforms to enhance client experiences and drive business growth.

 

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Maintain a knowledge and awareness of the technology available in the industry and what products and services are in the market that could be utilized by CBIZ Employee Benefits.
  • Maintains access to the software and provides training.
  • Schedules all new client implementation.
  • Works with clients and staff to ensure that all software is working properly and troubleshoots any issues with appropriate tech staff.
  • Works with clients using selected technology platform to train admin staff and provide group training to employees at Open Enrollment meetings.
  • Sets up client sites for renewal and open enrollment using selected technology platform.
  • Trains new CBIZ hires technology platforms and provides regular training sessions for existing staff as software is upgraded and new functionality becomes available
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Employee Navigator or other benefits administration platforms, HRIS systems, or similar technology solutions. 

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Prior experience in a technology implementation or support role, preferably within the employee benefits or insurance industry.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of related insurance industry experience and the ability to quickly learn new platforms
  • Demonstrates proficiency in making presentation in a sales or training setting.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, thorough, and accurate with a strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Ability to work as part of a team, meet deadlines and take instruction from multiple sources
  • Proactive decision-maker with the ability to see the big picture
