Your Team’s Impact

The Buy-Side Performance Managed Services team partners with industry-leading asset and wealth management firms to optimize performance measurement and reporting using B-One, our sophisticated financial analytics platform. This technology-first group ensures stable production operations and continuous workflow improvement for high-profile clients across the globe. The team’s work is highly visible, directly influencing clients’ ability to measure investment results and meet industry standards for attribution and GIPS compliance.

What You’ll Do

You will act as a senior technical resource, supporting clients and ensuring reliable performance workflows from data ingestion to final outputs. This role involves resolving technical challenges, designing and maintaining robust solutions, and collaborating across multiple teams to drive high-quality service and continuous improvement. You’ll assist with platform upgrades and other changes in live environments, applying your knowledge of performance measurement and financial logic to support portfolio data analysis and translate technical results for performance and reporting teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and support client technical environments in a Managed Services context, including B-One application servers, SQL Server databases, and batch scheduling systems
  • Design and maintain workflows covering security master loads, position/transaction imports, price feeds, NAV reconciliation, calculation runs, and report generation.
  • Work with relational databases to query, analyze, and optimize data processing
  • Support and troubleshoot application server and infrastructure-related issues
  • Provide clear communication and transparency on incidents, changes, and client requests
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, IT, or related field
  • 5+ years in a technical, client-facing role
  • Advanced SQL skills (Oracle, MS SQL, or PostgreSQL) with the ability to query complex schemas, optimize performance, and debug stored procedures.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities
  • Familiarity with financial instruments, portfolio data, or asset management workflows
  • Understanding of 3-tier architectures and production system environments
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical topics clearly
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with performance measurement, attribution, or reporting systems such as B-One, FactSet, Eagle PACE/STAR, SimCorp Dimension, Aladdin, or MarkitEDM.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines, file-based integrations, and scripted automation (bash, PowerShell, or similar).
  • Familiarity with application server management (Tomcat) and message brokers (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ).
  • Experience with Web Services and APIs (REST, XML, JSON)
  • Skilled with Excel for data analysis

Salary is just one component of our compensation package and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications. 

The budgeted salary range for this position in the state of California is $90,000-$120,000.
