CTEC is seeking a Technical Writer to join our remote team, with candidates located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
Job Description: Creates comprehensive technical documentation for Social Security Administration training systems, procedures, and user guides. Develops clear, accessible documentation that meets federal plain language requirements while supporting system users, administrators, and stakeholders in understanding complex technical processes and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, or related field with 5+ years of federal documentation experience.
- Experience creating technical documentation that complies with federal plain language and accessibility standards.
- Knowledge of government documentation requirements, approval processes, and style guides.
- Proficiency in federal-approved documentation tools and content management systems.
- Understanding of Section 508 compliance for documentation and federal information dissemination requirements.
Clearance: Must be able to Obtain Public Trust Clearance.
