We are looking for a brilliant and experienced technical writer to bolster our small documentation team.

The Role

We're seeking a brilliant and experienced Technical Writer to join our growing documentation team. You'll play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional user experiences by creating informative and engaging content across various media.

In Singular, you will work with a global force of creative, highly motivated professionals who develop new features and solutions weekly in response to the needs of a growing market. You'll be required to grasp complicated concepts quickly and describe them clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. You'll be encouraged to work independently and provide input on how best to make the product more accessible to customers. The person we are looking for is passionate about taking complex products and flows and helping generate easy-to-digest but informative and educational content. We need someone that has excellent attention to detail, and is curious and eager to learn.

Responsibilities
  • Content Expertise: Maintain, improve, and ensure the accuracy of our existing knowledge base articles. 

  • Large-Scale Projects: Research, organize, and document complex technical topics, delivering high-quality documentation on time.

  • Strategic Thinking: Collaborate across teams to develop a roadmap for our help center, including design and structure improvements.

  • Product Marketing Liaison: Work with product marketing to translate features into user-friendly help center content.

  • Content Innovation: Develop engaging multimedia content (videos, GIFs) and explore new tools to enhance user understanding.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders, including technical support and product teams.

  • Data Detective: Continuously QA your work and user data to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.

  • Analytics Advocate: Become an expert on our product usage metrics and user journeys. Partner with the product team to analyze this data and develop data-driven strategies to improve user experience and feature adoption.

  • Experience crafting clear, concise, and user-friendly technical documentation.

  • A knack for taking complex concepts and making them easy to understand.

  • Excellent research and organizational skills.

  • The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • A passion for creating innovative and engaging content across various media formats (written, video, interactive).

  • Strong analytical skills

  • A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to quality assurance.

Bonus points if you
  • Have experience with content management systems (CMS) and authoring tools.

  • Are familiar with SEO best practices.

  • Have experience making videos

  • Have a background in marketing or analytics.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of technical writing experience

  • Experience documenting a highly technical software product

  • Experience writing API/SDK documentation 

  • Software development experience/education - a plus

  • Experience working in the ad tech/mobile marketing world - a plus

  • Experience translating articles in Portuguese/Spanish - a plus
