About the Role

As a Technical Consultant at Solutions by Text, you will be a technical generalist playing a vital role in software implementation projects, collaborating with internal technical stakeholders and customers. Your primary responsibility will be to bridge the gap between technical and business-oriented professionals, to achieve successful implementation as well as ongoing optimizations of SBT integrations. Your role will involve both the initial setup and configuration, as well as providing technical support post-production to ensure continued functionality and adoption.

 

Operating within an AGILE environment, you will work with a stack comprising .NET Core, React, and AWS technologies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and project management abilities to drive the successful delivery of cutting-edge solutions to our clients.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the technical implementation of SBT integrations.
  • Collaborate with internal technical stakeholders and customers to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Configure, customize, and test software based on SBT specifications.
  • Provide post-production technical support, addressing issues, bugs, and system optimization requests.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support throughout the software implementation process.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and recommend best practices for enhanced performance.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and quality assurance to ensure software functionality and performance.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies relevant to the software development stack.

 

 Competencies & Experience
  • Proven work experience as an Operations Analyst or in a similar role, demonstrating a deep understanding of operational analysis and process improvement.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using statistical and database software to analyze operational data and generate meaningful insights.
  • Strong consulting and project management expertise, with a track record of successfully leading operational improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying root causes and proposing effective solutions.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). is preferred, although equivalent work experience will be considered.

 

Preferred skills and qualifications
  • Knowledge of cloud-based systems, SaaS products, or enterprise software solutions.
  • Prior experience in providing post-production technical support and system maintenance.
  • Familiarity in (or certifications with) security, cloud architecture, and software engineering (especially functional languages) are a plus.
  • Previous experience with SMS/Text Servicing.
  • Previous experience with Payment Services.
