The Role

As a part-time Technical Sourcer at Striveworks, you’ll be challenged—and trusted—on day one to identify, engage, and attract top-tier talent. You’ll be an ambassador of Striveworks, playing a critical role in fueling our growth.

You’re right for this opportunity if you enjoy the research involved in finding highly technical candidates, engaging talent by crafting personalized outreaches, and building strong pipelines of talent ready to join an innovative AI operations (AIOps) start-up.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Leveraging a variety of sourcing tools and platforms to identify, engage, and attract technical talent
  • Partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to align on role requirements and sourcing strategies
  • Developing high-conversion outreaches that reflect Striveworks’ mission and values
  • Utilizing sourcing metrics to improve efficiency and candidate quality

This part-time position offers a hybrid/on-site environment at our office in northwest Austin, TX.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Sourcer, ideally focused on software engineering
  • The ability to create and execute sourcing strategies across multiple channels
  • Strong research skills and the ability to identify talent 
  • Proficiency in crafting and using Boolean strings 
  • Experience with sourcing and recruiting tools and platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub) 
  • Experience with data-driven decision-making and tracking key sourcing metrics
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral  
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • A self-starter who is comfortable adapting to changing circumstances and priorities 
  • Due to the nature of this role, candidates must be a US persons (US citizen, a US national, or a Green Card holder)

The anticipated pay range for this position is $35 to $45/hour. We estimate this role to average 30 hours per week, though there is no guaranteed minimum at this time.
